This is so interesting, i only got two endings and ill play until i get the third. the vibe is so ominous and interesting, and writing a text game in a format where visuals are limited added a lot to how dark the environment actually was and made us really feel like we were there.

Waking up in the white room in a state where I can't move but only full of regret wishing to go back to the darkness. From what I understand the darkness is a repressive of death. A chance to fight and escape the darkness, the death. Only to live with regret. It's very tragic end to a story.

The ending I got was waking up in the ICU in a vegetative state, The idea of romancing the abyss was very interesting and unexpected! The abyss character's characterization was unexpectedly kind/human(?) which was enjoyable for me, getting to know them more.  I also enjoy your writing  style and the pacing for this game. I also had the mechanical issue of getting stuck at the candle scene quite often, but eventually figured it out !

I got the ending where I woke up.  It felt tragic. I fought hard to escape the grips of the shadow only to end up in a worse state. Unfortunately, that's how it goes.  The prose was well done. The banter between the player and the shadow was fun to read. Plus the few visuals gave off a dreamy vibe that added nicely to the game.

I got the ending where I woke up in the hospital.  This was very well thought out and i really enjoyed being interrogated. I was confused about the candles at first but I still used them. there were also times when only one choice would show up. I liked the fact that both characters were vague in a way, where like I didn't really know who I was and I didn't know what the being I was talking to was either. Great game I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This game is terrifying, intriguing, and beautiful, much like the dark entity who you speak with. The existentialism I was able to very much resonate with, and the additions to the narrative (visuals and sounds) were able to really enhance my experience and the atmosphere of the story. Both characters felt very consistent and engaging, and I enjoyed the "safety net" mechanic of the candles which was then sort of turned against you at the end. My favorite thing to imagine was how the darkness character would react over which questions I chose to skip using the candle, hehe. Very cohesive, emotional, and highly engaging!

I kept running into an unfortunate bug where, when the candles were presented to me, I couldn't scroll down far enough to reach the options and I was forced to restart. This is purely a mechanical issue; no fault of yours, but it unfortunately drained my patience. I only found one ending but I really want to go back and play more!

Really wonderful narrative game. I was intrigued by the relationship between these two characters and appreciated that focus on the senses. There were mysterious elements such as the candles which I still don't have a firm grasp on but they were effective in capturing my imagination and giving me a small sense of agency and consent within the space. I got the Wonderland ending and felt satisfied with the experience so I didn't replay it with an effort to arrive somewhere different. Great work!

The first ending I got was White, and then I replayed to get the other two. Surprisingly, it was pretty difficult to get the Black ending. In my playthrough, I was reading about being surrounded by darkness, but the background was white, which felt off to me. I really enjoyed all the dialogue though, especially the way that the choices you make are incorporated into the story as a form of dialogue that also adds to the player character's personality. Although I personally wouldn't want to stay with the abyss character, I like how sometimes it seems to genuinely want the player to be happy.

I didn't see its name, but I got the ending where I woke up as a vegetable in a hospital, and then played again and got the Wonderland ending a bunch of times. I was trying to get the third ending, but couldn't find a way to get to it.

I thought the narrative and language here was really vivid and engaging, I like the eerie atmosphere and the resolution of what I actually want (escaping) ends up being terrible for me (vegetative state) was not what I expected, but compelling either way. The characterization of the void character was fun and I liked the options I was able to choose. The candle mechanic was fun and added a layer of complexity to it that made me want to play again. The visual style was also nice, I liked the dreamy glowing feeling of everything, and things like the chromatic aberration camera flare on the lit up candles were a good touch.

The only issue I had with it is some of the inky formatting. Sometimes the lines wouldn't clear and then the options I had to pick from weren't accessible to me and I would have to go from my last save and try it all over again or and I couldn't just continue down that route I wanted to since the options were obstructed. Also, it would've been cool if the background was darker considering the game takes place in complete darkness.

I'm glad you like it! Regarding the third ending: you can achieve BE by choosing enough wrong options (you will hear a sigh when you choose wrongly) without lighting any candles

I love how unique this game is! The story of it was extremely well executed.  The use of color helped to reinforce the kinda creepy aesthetic of the game. I'm in love with the candle mechanic and being able to come back from mistakes I made through lighting the candle.

I got the "True Ending"! This was really compelling, and the interactions between you as a character and the darkness felt really realistic and natural. I felt only a little uncomfortable the whole time, which i think was the intended effect LOL. I liked the candle mechanic a lot too, that added extra layer of you being able to avoid answering questions made it feel even more high stakes. I honestly really don't have many other notes on this game, I think it felt complete and well executed! I hope you expand on this concept more!

I really enjoyed how creepy this was! I got the ending Pure White, which seems like a pretty bad ending. I appreciate how you made the background black, and I thought the images did a really good job of adding to the narrative. I'm still not entirely sure what lighting the candles was doing, but trying to guess what the shadow wanted me to say was very fun! There were a couple small grammar issues but overall it was really good!

Lighting candles is a way to make up for choosing an option shadow hates (or skipping a question you don't want to answer). The reward for lighting a candle is the same as choosing the correct answer

This is really interesting! I personally really enjoyed the story & interaction between the player and the abyss/shadow. I played through this twice, mostly due to how much I enjoyed the dialogue, and got two endings: The Normal Ending & "Good Ending" (I'm assuming?)

It's really interesting that the truth that the shadow was trying to hide was a suicide attempt, and I enjoyed the mystery of trying to figure out what was being hidden throughout! The graphics also really enhanced the gameplay and kept me engaged. Overall, I really like this game! I definitely want to try to get the third ending too, as I feel it would probably answer some of the questions I have (the main one being who is the void in relation to the player/in general?)
